The name, Plant Lady Juice Co. originated from thought, literally. Akilah Cherri says it's a gift from her ancestors.

"I was brainstorming a bunch of names on paper one day and nothing felt like 'the one'. The next day, it hit me.. The Plant Lady's Juice Co.

I am the Plant Lady. I grow from seed. I harvest, dry, and create plant medicine. I eat plants on the daily. & now, the Plant Lady is crafting her medicine in the form of libations. Fresh Juicy Blessings™ !"

For Jennifer Kanyange Plant Lady Juice Co. honors her grandmothers, who were both known as plant ladies in their families and communities. Following in their footsteps, Jennifer tends a thriving urban garden from her Atlanta home.

While we use lady to honor our ancestors and immediate grandmothers alike, we welcome and embrace all plant parentals!

The first 50 customers to place their orders can get between $30 to $250 worth of juices, teas, and elixirs each week. As Plant Lady Juice Co. grows, we may be able to change the number of customers who can order each week and the minimum and maximum order sizes.

Place your order by 6 p.m. ET on Wednesday to get your juices, teas, and elixirs on the upcoming Sunday. Orders placed after 6 p.m. ET on Wednesday will be delivered on the following Sunday's delivery route.

At this time, we can’t accommodate more than 50 orders. The minimum per order is $30. The maximum per order is $250. We do have a couple options for larger orders:

• If you’re looking for at least $500 worth of juices, teas, or elixirs, we can do a catering order. Fill out our Catering Request Form and we’ll get back to you to discuss.
• If you’d like to order 12 or more of the same juice, tea, or elixir, we can do a wholesale order. We require 14 days notice for a wholesale order. Fill out our Wholesale Request Form and we’ll get back to you to confirm your order.

We offer two delivery windows on Sunday: 11 a.m. to  2p.m. ET and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET. You can select your window when you check out.

That’s ok. We will leave your order outside. Some people leave a cooler outside for us to put their order in, but that’s not necessary. When you place your order, note any details (i.e gatecodes, where we should drop it if you’re not home etc.). You can also note if you’d like us to give you a heads up 30 minutes before delivery.

Plant Lady Juice Co. likes how you think. We are exploring subscription options so that you can set and forget your orders. Until then, consider setting a reminder to order every Wednesday just after 6 p.m. ET or early Thursday morning to keep the juices, teas, and elixirs coming.

No. Pasteurizing (which basically means heating it up real hot) our products with high heat would take away all the good vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. Most people don’t need to worry about any bacteria that might be present in the juice. 

We do have to advise you that unpasteurized products may contain harmful bacteria that can cause serious illness in children, the elderly and persons with weakened immune systems. If you’re concerned about drinking unpasteurized products, please consult with your primary care physician.

We recommend sticking your juice, teas, and elixirs in the refrigerator when you get them to help preserve all the nutrient goodness. It’s best to drink them within 3-5 days … just in time for your next delivery!

What’s on the site is what we have right now.

We have so many ideas! While we don’t have any branded items for sale right now, we do plan to add some.

Our products are RAW and made in small batches just for you. They have not undergone a pasteurization process that keeps the juices from spoiling. That’s why we sell directly to you instead of selling to grocery stores that can’t typically offer juices with a shorter shelf life.

Most of our cleanses are meant to help detoxify your body so each molecule can focus on doing its job. Sometimes, our systems need to rest up so they can spend energy keeping you healthy and looking like you do.

Of course you can. Do you! Smoothies have a purpose. It’s just not quite the same as a cleanse that helps your body detoxify itself. The benefit of the juices we include in our cleanses is that the nutrients are already broken down, which means your body doesn’t have to do that extra work and gets a rest.

Yes! You’ll want to keep them at a temperature of 40 degrees or lower to preserve all their goodness for as long as possible. 

Sorry, that’s not an option. We carefully curated the cleanses for specific purposes. You’re certainly welcome to add any other drinks you might want to your cart.
